Ealing Sessions

Led by experienced performer and teacher, Tom Newell, Ealing Sessions is a weekly tune-learning group, for any melody or harmony instrument, specialising in the traditional repertoire of the British Isles and beyond. Tunes are taught by ear, with supporting recording, videos and notation, and guidance is given on harmony and stylistics.

We meet at the West London Trade Union Club in Acton every Monday evening during academic term time. Beginning at 7:15 for a 7:30 start, we have a short break for a cup of tea or a pint from the excellent bar downstairs, then play again until 9:30.
